Blaire & Eric tied the knot last weekend in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Their ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Market Street, with huge tall ceilings and stunning stained glass windows. Watching Eric’s reaction as Blaire walked down the aisle was enough to not leave a dry eye in the house. Eric’s brother even SANG the Lord’s prayer for everyone and it was incredible – unlike anything I’ve ever seen at a wedding before. Their ceremony was then followed by a reception at the Convention Center downtown. Which was such a great location because we were able to take our bridal party photos and couples portraits right along the riverwalk, including stealing them for some of my absolute favorites – sunset photos! And on the water, too. I LOVE when I get moments like that.

They were such a sweet couple, their love story was so fun to hear about and watch as their families officially came together that day. Blaire’s family is Greek which added some extra fun on the dance floor that evening, including some traditional Greek dances. Their reception was decorated glamorously with tall glass centerpieces filled with stunning florals, so much purple and white and green. I had a blast watching Jack, Eric’s son, dance his little heart out on the dance floor with his cousins while their wedding band, Port City Shakedown, entertained the whole crowd. I’ve worked with a lot of wedding bands before and this one was by far the best I’ve ever seen. It set such a fun tone for their reception and everyone had such a great time! I think one of my favorite parts was when we were all getting ready to head outside to do a grand exit (yes, with glow sticks!) and Blaire and Eric both hopped up on stage and sang and gave impromptu speeches. Watching the way the Eric looks at her can seriously melt your heart. I’m so happy to be able to work with such amazing couples, and be there for one of the happiest days of their lives. Congratulations you two!!!
