Bakery 105 | Jillian & Tyler -

Bakery 105 is one of my favorite venues, for so many reasons. Not only is it the perfect location – one block from the river, right in the heart of the historic district in Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. But it’s also got the most STUNNING outdoor patio covered in ivy walls, making the perfect spot for either a ceremony, a cocktail hour, or even a reception, depending on the time of year. The indoor space is beautiful old brick, with enough windows to still provide beautiful natural light during the daytime. I love this place. And the cherry on top is the staff at Bakery 105/128 South. They know what they’re doing, they’re so welcoming and helpful to the vendors, they always take care of me, and I can’t speak enough to how much that matters. So, safe to say I was excited when I first started talking to Jill & Tyler about their wedding plans.

These two live in New York City, but chose the beautiful southern charm of Wilmington as the location for their wedding. They both work in the film/comedy industry, and the stories they had were incredible, from SNL stories to Tyler actually being put in charge of babysitting Harry Styles (okay, One Direction) for a day. I was in awe. Jillian and I have so much in common, it was genuinely just like hanging out with my friend all day long. I loved the people they surrounded themselves with for their big day, I loved the speeches their friends and family made about them. It was all so heartwarming. And to top it all off – some of my FAVORITE FLORALS EVER by the amazing Do Me a Favor Events. Looooooove. Wish every day was like this day!
